Knowing what your clients want, need, and work best with is the basis for building good usability.

Needs assessment surveys for new projects.

Having led website redesign and mobile app development projects for over twelve years, I am experienced in gathering data on what is and isn’t working before a project starts.

I created the Top Vegetable Gardening Issues survey to determine the most significant need for county agents when answering client gardening questions before building Extension’s first chatbot.

A survey with outstanding responses was my Employee Only Website Survey to assess what should and shouldn’t be included in a new employee website.

It’s not just digital content that requires surveys. Before writing a grant for accessibility software, I surveyed county agents about funding needs.

assessing usability? I can help.

It’s best practice to enlist the help of a wide range of testers to take your project through its paces before launch.

To that end, I created a Cooperative Extension Usability Test Group form to gather testers for IT development projects.

I also custom create surveys for specific projects such as the Forages Database Survey, the Tomato App Feedback Survey, and the VeggieBot Survey to ensure quality assurance and usability before releasing products to the public.

“It takes humility to seek feedback. It takes wisdom to understand it, analyze it, and appropriately act on it.”
